Check out this 140-square-foot micro home, featured today as one of the entrants in Apartment Therapy's Small Cool 2013 contest. The owner, identified simply as Malissa, built the place with her husband, hoisting the bed into a sleeping loft and using wood throughout (the walls, the beamed ceilings, even the console for the enormous flat-screen TV) to give the space a polished, finished look that's much more natural than some other dwellings of this size. "We designed the house with us in mind and it works perfectly with our lives," Malissa writes, adding, "We couldn't imagine being anywhere else in life!" A few more looks, below.
