This Red 'Treehouse' is Actually Part of a Larger Tree Hotel

This cabin is not, as one may imagine, the house incarnate of Little Red Riding Hood, but rather another funky arboreal suite at Sweden's ultra cool Treehotel, you know, the smattering of vacation rentals in the woods that includes a mirrored cube and a 20-ton "treehouse." Designed by Stockholm-based architecture firm SandellSandberg, the house—recently featured over at Remodelista—is clad in laminated birch shingles and painted bright scarlet, while the inside is a cooling contrast of heather grays and white.
