Anatomy of a Hotel Room: the Palms' Renovated Ivory Suite

Much has happened since MTV's The Real World: Las Vegas put the Palms Casino Resort on the map in 2002; within the last year, the hotel has dropped $50M on a massive renovation to redesign the casino floor, add new restaurants and bars, and overhaul more than 400 guest rooms, including the Grand Suites, which are now called Ivory Suites. Designed by local architecture firm Klai Juba, the 1,000-square-foot space is "inspired by the sensual vibes of the Vegas lifestyle," says designer Kelly Scherbenski, who worked on the project. "We used the city's temptations as our inspiration and played with the idea of innocence versus seduction." Break down what that means, below:
