Would You Pay A Million For A Jackson Hotel Suite?

New, 1 comment

Yes, this 1,275 square foot 2 bedroom suite in the Snake River Lodge & Spa is going for $995,000. That's $780 a square foot. Is that price outrageous? Before we jump to conclusions, let's consider a few things this suite has going for it. First of all, it's in the Snake River Lodge and Spa, which Trip Advisor rates as the 4th best hotel in Teton Village. It's got an incredible 5-story 17,000 square foot pool and spa area, one of the best of any ski town hotel anywhere. It's only a few hundred feet from the Jackson Hole tram, has its own washer and dryer for washing rank ski gear, a full kitchen, and can be entered in the hotel's rental pool when the owner isn't around (although a decent cut goes to the hotel).

With its slopeside location and access to all the Snake River's amenities, it's pretty low-fuss living for ski season. But come summertime, the center of the action moves to the town of Jackson, and the ski resort quiets down. So what do you think, yea on a million bucks for this place, or neh?
