Those damn developers fooled us again! Despite Editor Ryan Dunfee's year-or-so spent spent living only fifteen minutes away in Dollar Point, we had no idea anyone living up near the base of Squaw Valley had a beach and their own lake. Alas, we've been fooled. The appropriately-named Hidden Lake is a small spring-fed lake (really more of a pond), and access to it is controlled by a private community, of which this 4,686 square foot 4 bed, 5th bath "European-inspired Chalet home" is a member. $2.95 million gets the home with a stone patio facing towards Squaw (looks like you get a decent view of the Headwall) and a well-equipped kitchen and wine room among other amenities about 1.7 miles from the Squaw parking lot, with a back street letting you skip most of the Squaw Valley Road traffic on powder days.
