Architizer just rolled out a column called "The Angry Architect," wherein a designer "evaluates, eviscerates, or extols" a new project every week. First up: the anticipated Port Authority terminal in Antwerp, Belgium, by famed designer of amorphous buildings, Zaha Hadid. The author writes of the diamond-like appendage: "One wonders if Zaha may have scribbled her concept for this structure on a napkin whilst at dinner with a certain Mr. Libeskind." Sheesh. Them's fighting words. [Architizer; previously]
