Songtress Carole King, who has had her 128-acre ranch in Idaho's Sawtooth Mountains on the market for more than two years, has just cut the price of the property by $2M. That's just the latest in a series of price chops that have brought the ask down from $16M to $9.9M. The impressive, if remote, property is centered around a log-hewn compound comprised of a lodge, an owner's residence, a series of guest cottages, and a greenhouse. Owing to its remote location, 1.5-hours drive north of already-remote Sun Valley, the ranch is also equipped with a professional recording studio, so King can get some work done at her mountain escape. Arguably the best feature of this apparently hard to sell estate is a pair of hot spring-heated swimming pools, but even those haven't been enough to move this celebrity property yet.
