Crosstown Traffic

A mudslide produced by heavy rains covered four miles of Highway 145 outside of Telluride Tuesday with mud, rocks, and wooden debris and leaving 20 cars stuck. Thankfully none were injured, but it took road workers about twelve hours to clear one lane of the highway, and both lanes opened yesterday afternoon. Be aware that the road is still slick with mud.
