Chicago's famed "Stainless Steel Apartment," the crowning duplex of the city's Ludwig Mies van der Rohe-designed complex on Lake Shore Drive, has sold for $2M. It listed in April for $1.95M, and went under contract after three weeks, finally closing on Tuesday. And, yes, $2M seems like a deal for a bit of starchitecture, but, then again, that's excluding the $5,495-a-month co-op assessment. [Curbed Chicago]
