Jamie Mackay ended a nasty battle with locals & Teton County over his plans for a 2-acre plot next to Nora's Fish Creek Inn in Wilson by selling the land to an unnamed buyer this week for an unknown price. His most recent plan called for 6,300 square feet of commercial space, 10,000 of residential, and two houses totaling 5,900 square feet. The plan was OK'd by the county by was reversed in state supreme court after a push by Wilson residents. Mackay was bummed he couldn't develop his project, calling Teton County's rules and regulations a "torture chamber." [Jackson Hole Property Guide]
