The Priciest Listing In East Dennis Lowers Ask to $6.9 Million

We wrote about this East Dennis listing, the priciest pad in town, in November for Curbed Marketplace. Back then, the property was asking a whopping $8,500,000. By April, the pricechopper had come to town and hacked a million dollars off the ask. Since there were no takers at $7,500,000, the pricechopper returned last week to slice $600K from the price tag. The 7,500 square foot six bedroom, seven bath is now asking $6,900,000.

We'll let the new brokerbabble take it from here:

This property presents one of the most picturesque settings on Cape Cod. Privately nestled in a 46 acre five home enclave with a shared tennis court and 1,700 feet of beachfront, this six bedroom property offers limitless views of Cape Cod Bay. The home unfolds through a grand scale foyer blending understated luxury with comfort and is adjoined by a great room with chef's kitchen, formal living and dining room, library and first floor master suite. Centering the upstairs is a grand master suite flanked by two additional bedrooms. Above the 3 car garage are guest quarters. Additional space and a magnificent gym reside in a separate cottage. Sweeping vistas and exquisite craftsmanship flag this home as seen with the century old southern yellow pine floors. The spectacular grounds are enhanced with a pool, koi pond and resplendent gardens.Do you think this chop will do the trick? Or will the pricechopper head to East Dennis yet again?
