Today Curbed Detroit maps the beautiful midcentury modern works of Minoru Yamasaki, "one of the best known architects in the early 1960s," who once served on a presidential committee to redesign D.C.'s Pennsylvania Ave, and whose work appeared on the cover of TIME.
