Interior Secretary Sally Jewell announced in Jackson Hole last week that funds raised largely by the foundation supporting Grand Teton National Park will fund $16 million in infrastructure upgrades for the park's most popular trails. The South Jenny Lake visitor area, Hidden Falls, the String Lake outlet and the Jenny Lake overlook will all get needed maintenance and upgrades. On a related note, the feds have promised money to help get a bike path from Victor, Idaho part of the way up Teton Pass to Jackson. [Jackson Hole News & Guide]
