It's Official: The CapeFLYER Will Run Through Columbus Day

Just a few weeks ago, we were rumormongering about the CapeFLYER's seasonal rail service possibly being extended through the Columbus Day weekend. Indeed, it turns out the CapeFLYER is officially so awesome that the Boston to Hyannis train will be extended through Monday, October 14. According to a press release, "The weekend seasonal service, which was launched on Memorial Day weekend and originally scheduled to end on Labor Day, has carried more than 11,000 passengers so far," making it worthy, i.e. profitable, enough to chug along into the shoulder season.
