Retail power couple Dave DeMattei and Patrick Wade made the move from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 2010—when DeMattei was named CEO of Lucky Brand and Wade took over as creative director for the brand. First, they rented a temporary pad in West Hollywood, while they searched for a more suitable permanent home. In 2011, they settled on a classic 1920s Italianate mansion in Beverly Hills and sold their San Francisco home, along with a vacation house in Napa, and crammed all of their possessions into the 5,000-square-foot space. Now, after two years of honing and curating, the couple are showing off the results in the September issue of Architectural Digest.
