Today Architizer explores why, oh why, a starchitect like Frank Gehry got caught up in the office lobby sculpture circuit, looking closely at his blocky "Icehenge" sculpture in Chicago's Inland Steel Building. Apparently Gehry has taken a liking to the 1957 structure, which, like many a Gehry project, "does not shy away from the tensile and textural qualities of its steel cladding," Architizer writes. Plus, well, he owns a 5 percent stake in the landmark. [Architizer; previously]
