McMansion Watch

Joe Farrell—the prolific megabuilder who owns a crazy $43.5M mansiontells the New York Times that "someone's going to build" the dozens of cookie-cutter Hamptons McMansions he's become famous for. "I just happen to be building a lot of them, and people are buying them." Architecture critic Paul Goldberger's take? "If I see one more shiny new gambrel roof, shingled house I'll scream.
