Sesuit Neck Fixer-Upper Hits the Market for $1.8 Million

Anyone who swooned over yesterday's rundown of the 10 oldest houses available on Cape Cod will no doubt enjoy checking out this East Dennis listing. The Sesuit Neck 1,777 square foot Greek Revival (we think) was built in 1850 - according to a sign on the house - or 1825 - according to Zillow. Either way, the four bedroom, one bath has lots of original details but is currently in a state of disrepair, confirmed by the ruin porn listing photos. Meanwhile, the exterior of the home has been well-maintained and there's a barn and outbuilding. Per the listing, the house has historic connections to the Shiverick Ship Builders (more on the Shiverick Shipyard here), but somehow we can't see that contributing to the rather hefty ask. Thus, it must be the four acre lot overlooking Sesuit Creek and marshlands that has the sellers asking $1,800,000, making this fourth priciest listing in all of East Dennis.
