Vermont's 185-Acre Stonehill Farm, Tennis Paradise, Listed

New, 12 comments

Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Quechee, Vt.
Price: Price Upon Request
The Skinny: Nestled in the Green Mountains near Woodstock, Vermont, the Stonehill Farm comprises 185 acres of rolling countryside, a 9,000-square-foot stone mansion, a heated horse barn, a "Class A" grass tennis court, and a 12,000-square-foot field house with indoor Har Tru tennis court. Designed by NYC-based architect Alan Wanzenberg, the 15-room main house boasts seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, "a large gourmet kitchen, living room, formal and informal dining rooms, [and] 3,200-bottle wine cellar." The price has not been revealed, but given that Stonehill Farm is owned by the same people who recently listed a New Hampshire lake house for $7.5M, it probably won't be cheap.
