The tide of architectural appropriation is beginning to ebb, with America now stealing architecture from China. Steven Holl's Linked Hybrid project, built in Beijing, will get a suspiciously similar cousin in L.A.'s Medallion 2.0 development, but the Chinese probably shouldn't be too offended, considering the country features several copies of Zaha Hadid's work and has no shame about copying entire Austrian mountain towns.
