Kids these days get some of the coolest architecture around. When schools aren't being held up by giant giraffes or carved out of passenger jets, they're out-swanking each other with gorgeous open plans, modernist church conversions, Skittle-colored windows, and swoopy striped ceilings. The latest is this cat-shaped primary school in Karlsruhe, Germany, spotted over at Inthralld. Students enter Kindergarten Wolfartsweier through the cat's mouth, do crafts and math inside its belly, and leave through the metal tube slide that is its tail. More photos, below.
More buildings shaped like animals, right this way.
