Business Insider reports that President Obama will be spending his summer vacation (which starts tomorrow) up at the Chilmark House in Martha's Vineyard. Architect Rick Sundberg, of Sundberg Kennedy Ly-Au Young Architects, which renovated the spread in 2006, confirmed that the first family will be renting the place, which sits on 9.5 acres on the wealthiest bit of "The Vineyard," for eight days. With industrial-looking gray cladding and large expanses of floor-to-ceiling window, the estate is much sleeker and more contemporary than his past summer spots—indeed the Martha's Vineyard place he huddled up in two summers ago had that whole Kennedy Cape Cod-thing going for it.
