Two years after splitting with her artist husband Vincent Mazeau and selling their Brooklyn townhouse, J. Crew creative director Jenna Lyons has finally settled on a new NYC home. The highly-paid designer forked over $6M for a 3,500-square-foot Soho loft, more than $500K over the asking price, in an apparent bidding war. Lyons is used to properties selling over the asking price, after her Brooklyn home sold for $250K more than the $3.75M asking price after a flurry of bids. Her new Soho digs are essentially raw space, at least by Lyons' standards, and will require a serious renovation. As an extra bonus, the monthly maintenance is a ludicrously low $200 per month, thanks to income from the building's ground floor retail space, and no, it is not a J. Crew store.
