Does This Gorgeous Hawaiian Estate Belong to Julia Roberts?

New, 5 comments

Unlike many of her past co-stars—George Clooney, Richard Gere, Sally FieldJulia Roberts' real estate has never amounted to much more than photo-less news bits. But that doesn't stop the celebrity-obsessed gears of The Real Estalker from churning: the site has just reported that one of Roberts' estates in Hawaii is on the market for $17M.

The three-bedroom main house, which Roberts and husband Danny Moder are said to have purchased in 2009 for about $10M, was remodeled by San Francisco-based architect Greg Warner. Now the place is open and airy, with beadboard walls, vaulted beamed ceilings, spectacular-looking wood trim, a butcher block-topped kitchen island, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of Mt. Kanana, the Limahuli Valley, and the water. Also on the eight acres: a one-bedroom, one-bath cottage, 400 feet of ocean frontage, and, as the Real Estalker puts it, a nice-looking lawn with "some sort of portable, half-trashy blow-up plunge pool situation." Above, have a look.
