At Long Last, Courteney Cox Lists A. Quincy Jones Mansion

New, 1 comment

A whole two years after Friends actress Courteney Cox and ex-husband actor David Arquette split up, the pair have finally, as was anticipated in September 2011, hulked their shared Beverly Hills mansion, an A. Quincy Jones-designed five-bedroom with one meandering single story and a circular pool, on the market for $19.5M. The place sits in Bev Hills' particularly fancy-pants Trousdale Estates enclave, a residential mine rich in celebrity residents—hullo Elton John, Jennifer Aniston, and Elvis Presley—and gleaming midcentury moderns. According to The Real Estalker, Cox and Arquette bought the place in June 2004 for $5.45M and hired designer Cory Buckner to give the property a facelift in 2006.

The listing boasts about "unobstructed views" and calls the place, which rings in at 5,500 square feet, a "rare and special offering." True, Jones' midcentury designs are beloved by directors, A-listers, and modernist fanboys alike, but with a paltry three listing photos we'll just have to take the brokerbabble at its word.

By the way, this is not Cox's only super lovely/extravagant/pedigreed L.A. home; the home decor aficionado (and Joss and Main curator) has also got a suh-weet oceanfront Malibu pad, featured in 2011 on the cover of Elle Decor.
