Want To Own Walmart Heiress Christy Walton's Jackson Mansion?

Heiress to Walton family Walmart wealth Christy Walton is selling her 8,606 square foot Jackson Hole mansion for $12.5 million. Ms. Walton is the widow of John Walton, son of Walmart founder Sam Walton who died in a 2005 plane crash that occurred shortly after takeoff from Jackson Hole Airport in a home-built craft. Christy Walton is now America's richest woman, and is selling her 6 bed, 7 bath sweep in Teton Village over next to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, which although on the whole is fairly unremarkable, is surrounded by water babbling by or pooling up in one of several landscaped pools that cascade past the driveway, or in Ellen Creek to the rear of the property. Back there you can find a guest cabin first built in 1906 that now houses two small guest bedrooms.

The Waltons are also selling their 1,848 Jackson Hole ranch, with its own elk herd, for $68,7000,000.
