FALMOUTH - The latest plan to balance the books, create clean energy and somehow please neighbors of the Falmouth turbines rests on jubilee by way of Boston: "Underlying the town's plan to run its two wind turbines for 16 hours a day is an assumption — a rather large one, the selectmen acknowledge — that the state will forgive nearly $6 million in loans and other funding used during their construction." HYANNIS - The Commonwealth was handing out $14.5M yesterday to hospitals and health centers "to provide more effective and cost effective care."
