Parents intending to spectate at the annual GranFondo bike race in Whistler on September 7th will be relieved to hear that this year, children will be allowed into the beer garden. A change from years past, where kids had to wait outside while mom or dad went in to grab a beer, means that kids can be waltzed around the sudsier part of the GranFondo venue as long as they have a special wristband on.
