L.A.'s 'Sublime' Domus Solaris Newly Listed For $2.4M

Newly listed for $2.4M in Hollywood Hills, Calif.: a Mulholland Drive overlooker known as Domus Solaris, which Curbed LA calls "achingly handsome." Built in 1975 by Donald Hensman of L.A. modernist firm Buff, Straub & Hensman and now owned by sports agent Michael Rielly, the listing is a streak of wood and window perched amongst scrubby, mud-colored L.A. hills. Low-slung and effortlessly curated, the home, if one is to believe the breathless brokerbabble, "positions its occupants in communion with the poet's sublime: endless sky and mountains, exhilarating height, a chosen solitude shared with wind, sun & air." Well then, nothing left to do but look at the photos.

The rest of the photos, over at Curbed LA.
