The data is in and Whistler Blackcomb has converted over 265 million gallons of water into snow, eclipsing the previous record-breaking Olympic season which pumped 225 million gallons over the course of the entire 2009-2010 season. With little natural snow falling in December, the resort's $60 million snowmaking infrastructure saved the holiday season. It also saved the Olympic dreams of many athletes, as the Canadian National Snowboard Slopestyle team is currently training on Blackcomb terrain parks. [Pique]
