Massive Ice Castles Light Up Three American Ski Towns

Ice castles in New Hampshire, Colorado, and Utah have taken the ski universe by storm with color-changing LED lights and fantastic icy spectacles. Built by hand and made from more than 20,000,000 pounds of ice, the three structures include glacial formations, caverns, archways, and maze-like tunnels. The ski towns lucky enough to score these icy wonders include Loon Mountain (NH), Midway (near Park City, UT), and Breckenridge (CO). Ticket prices range from $5 to $10 per person. The castles look especially cool at night so pack a thermos and get your ice on.
