Model of Stein Eriksen Residences Opens in Time For Sundance

Like the Viceroy Snowmass, another Curbed Ski Essential Hotel is stepping into the residences monopoly game. This time it's a partnership between Los Angeles-based Regent Properties and the five star Stein Eriksen Lodge. Together they are launching the Stein Eriksen Residences, a community of 16 four- to five-bedroom homes and 38 two- to five-bedrooms condos with ski-in/ski-out access at Deer Valley Resort. Pre-sales are starting now, and a multi-story five-bedroom model just opened in time for the big whigs at Sundance. Residence owners will get all the benefits associated with the Stein Eriksen Lodge (23,000 square foot spa anyone?), but the new development will also feature an indoor/outdoor infinity pool, a spa and fitness area, and an après ski lounge with fire pits. Of course, no ski-in/ski-out property at Deer Valley would be complete without ski locker rooms and ski valets who do everything but actually ski you down the mountain (although maybe they would do that too, for a price). Although Deer Valley is never going to be as extreme as this Colorado mountain, Curbed Ski does love to break out our one-piece for a good groomer day at the resort. And we have to admit, the new Stein Eriksen digs are living up to the hype, with huge windows, streamlined floor plans, and luxurious bathrooms that make us want to dole out some serious cash. That's probably the point, seeing as how the residences range in price from $2 to $7 million buckaroos. Deer Valley luxury doesn't come cheap.
