While Mammoth Mountain Ski Area waits on approval for the re-making of the Main Lodge area, plans are moving forward for the development of a new Eagle Lodge. Proposed plans for Eagle have already passed a number of town-imposed permits, so the facility will likely enter its final planning phase this summer. [Mammoth Times]
