Making the most of a relatively tight site on a quiet street in London's Barnsbury neighborhood, this remixed mews house upends a few architectural tropes to classy effect. Like its neighbors to the left, this corner unit sports a sightly two-story circular window in front, but one of its three bedrooms sits behind the lower portion. Reaching the living room, then, requires a trip upstairs, but the space has a view of a pleasantly overgrown courtyard out back, plus access to the terrace above it. London-based firm CZWG outfitted the second floor with a set of ironwork beams that turn to accent the arched shape of ceiling as they approach the narrow kitchen area, which looks out onto the street through the upper half of the wrap-around window.
