Bizarre Ski News

Big cities have premiers and black-tie events, ski towns have snow stomping parties. In order to prep snow for the Teton Valley Great SnowFest, locals in Driggs, Idaho will take part in "Stomping Day" on January 10 from 2-6:00 pm. People compact and jump on large containers of snow to help create sculpting blocks for a snow sculpture exhibit. There's even an after party for all snow stompers at TWR Grill. [Teton Valley News]
