Curbed Chicago got ahold of a proposal from the office of NYC-based architect Michael Sorkin, who outlines (in 32 pages) why Chicago, and not Honolulu, should host Obama's presidential library. The so-called Barack Obama Community Library would be "the first Presidential Center to be truly urban" and would honor Obama's "first deep contributions in public service and the place to which he returned" post-Presidency.
