Idaho's struggling Tamarack Resort may be tossed a life jacket this week if the Idaho Land Board agrees to transfer the resort's lease to a Credit Suisse-backed company called New TRAC. The ski area is currently owned by four different entities and has struggled to keep the lifts running and to break even on operations. But things are looking up; the ski area will operate seven days a week this winter rather than four as in years past. [Idaho Statesman]
