Zosia Mamet is Abandoning her Pink Building in Brooklyn

Why oh why would Girls actress Zosia Mamet want to leave Bushwick, the Brooklyn neighborhood where she not only bought and renovated a three-story pink building last year, but also where her Girls character Shoshanna had her accidental crack-smoking adventure? The 26-year-old actress bought the mixed-use, eight-bedroom building with her actor boyfriend Evan Jonigkeit in November of last year for $1.037M; now the two are trying to unload their purchase for $1.6M. The details are all surprisingly normal: the pair has a hefty (read: $820,000) mortgage, a rug from Ikea, and pretty humdrum decor (unlike, say, co-star Jemima Kirke, who owns a very quirky Brooklyn pad). Plans, so it seems, were to convert the three apartments in the building into one single-family house, though it's unclear how far that conversion got before the duo decided to abandon the project.
