The race to open is officially heating up and it's possible that two Colorado ski areas could be the first in North America to open this weekend. At Arapahoe Basin, the High Noon trail looks covered in white and COO and VP of the mountain, Alan Henceroth, said "I need to get my ski gear organized." Nearby, Loveland is also looking solid.
