The Quotable Rem Koolhaas

On the heels of Tomas Koolhaas's successfully-funded Kickstarter campaign for REM, a documentary about his very famous architect father, Rem Koolhaas himself answered some questions from campaign supporters, including a few on the future of urbanism:"[India] will have an incredible impact on what we do with this century and how we define modernity in this century and how we define urban cities, and Holland is of course, maintaining itself, it's not constructing anything really new, or to the extent it's constructing something new, it's not a tangible or even visible thing, but it is about how to change behavior or how to work on something complex and political like the European Union."
