Denmark's Waterfront Finally Has a Concrete Bubble

So it seems Danish architecture firm (and pusher of giant light-up crucifixes and manmade ski domes) CEBRA is at it again, this time with a huge concrete bump—er StreetDome—a Cold War bomb shelter lookalike intended to be a home for "street culture" and "street sports." The Danish town of Haderslev now boasts a giant concrete zit on primo waterfront—the safest skate park in world, if one doesn't count injuries sustained by parkour. (For their part, the architects call the shape an "igloo.") Luckily for the town's 21,000 residents with no need to practice "bouldering," there are concert and exhibition spaces here as well.
