Record-Breaking Florida Mansion Returns for $68M

Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Naples, Fla.
Price: $68,000,000
The Skinny: This massive beachfront home in Naples, Florida, is breaking records for its astronomical $68M ask, the highest listing price for a home in the little city since, well, the last time this house sold. In March 2012, the current owner dropped $47.3M on the 16,000-square-foot mock-Colonial, though less than three years later, the house has splashed into the market again (at a 43 percent price bump), thanks in large part to the owner's good old-fashioned tax fraud conviction. The five-year-old mansion sprawls over four acres of prime Southwest Florida real estate, which includes 227 feet of sandy shoreline on the Gulf of Mexico. Oh, and there's also a "gulf loggia with retractable motorized glass walls," a 66-foot pool with a spa, and a "seven-car collector's garage."
