The Idaho Mountain Express is reporting that longtime Idaho company Smith Optics will be leaving Sun Valley and moving their operations to three new U.S. locations. The changes are part of a top-down reconfiguration under Smith's parent company, and the brand is moving design to Portland, manufacturing and distribution to Utah, and finance and human resources to New Jersey.
