Sources tell the New York Daily News that Jennifer Lopez is the buyer of the penthouse at Manhattan's The Whitman building, which just sold for $22M. The so-called "luxury fortress" was done up by interior designer Jeremiah Brent, the better half of celebrity design person Nate "Berzerkus" Berkus.
If J. Lo did indeed buy the place, which listed last year for $25M, her new neighbors include Chelsea Clinton and NASCAR's Jeff Gordon. The full-floor duplex apartment has four bedrooms, a four-Miele-oven kitchen equipped with grow lights for herbs, and over 3,000 square feet of outdoor space that includes a putting green and a croquet pitch.
