Full House Actress Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli (of Target-based Mossimo fame) are selling their 1888 Victorian in Aspen for $8.9 million. Here's the catch: the 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath home looks nothing like a Victorian. Sure, the rooflines harken back to the grand ol' mining days of the 1880s, but all other historic elements have been stripped from this renovated pad by 1 Friday Design. That's not to say it isn't beautiful; the 4,756 square-foot interior is full of light, shiny white ceilings, and even a "floating" glass stairwell. And we like the outside spaces too, with the mountain views typical of Aspen's fancy West End. The house is undoubtedly "cool", which makes sense given the fact that Mr. Mossimo's ability to market "cool" clothing was the source of his success. But where's the original hand-carved staircase or the (albeit creaky) original wood floors? Le sigh. Since Mossimo sold his brand to Target in 2000, we're at least glad the house isn't decked out in red, like this Aspen abode.
