Olympic Buzz

The Utah Olympic Park just outside of Park City is currently undergoing a $3 million modernization project to increase capacity. When the facility reopens next June, there will be eight ramps instead of four and the 700,000-gallon swimming pool will be expanded to more than 1-million gallons. Construction is happening this winter to minimize the impact on U.S. athletes looking to train for the Olympics in 2018. [Salt Lake Tribune]
