UK Hotel Knows What Tourists Want, Debuts Harry Potter Rooms

Anyone who has read the Harry Potter books has probably wanted to spend at least a few days casting spells at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, or hanging out in Hagrid's Hut (soon to be built on JK Rowling's Scottish estate) with Harry and the gang. Now a 163-year-old bed and breakfast in London has decorated two of its rooms to look like Hogwarts dorms. The Georgian Hotel Hotel already possessed gothic interiors that were slightly reminiscent of the imposing and cavernous Hogwarts school, but with this latest style makeover, the resemblance is uncanny.

According to the hotel's website (which is now down, thanks to all the traffic the idea has generated), the two "Wizard's Chambers" have "a gothic feel, very true to the spirit of Hogwarts, with four-poster beds, potion bottles and cauldrons, and unexpected wizardly details." There's a battered trunk under a red canopied bed and a fireplace in one room, while the other room has a variety of tartan blankets, a school-size desk, and red curtains. Both rooms offer spell books.

"Don't worry, we include full English breakfast in your stay, and not bogey flavored Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans!" assures the website. The Wizard's Chamber rooms cost £209 for a double room, including breakfast. More photos, below:
