Osterville Estate With Bonkers Bunk Room Now $500K Cheaper

Another day, another Osterville estate meets with the PriceChopper and lowers its expectations.

The Bay Street listing first hit the market in March 2013 asking a hefty $8,900,000, making this one of Cape Cod's priciest pads. We wrote about the 1.5 acre digs in January of this year when the chopper swung by and removed a whopping $1.4 million from the ask. Alas, a $7,500,000 price tag was not enough to lure in a buyer and after a second slice, 183-191 Bay Street is now hoping for $6,995,000. To refresh, the waterfront property features a recently renovated main residence with a bonkers bunk room, a 1939 guest house, and "gorgeous views of North Bay, Osterville Marinas, and the draw bridge." Outside, the landscaped spread includes stone walls, mature plantings, a permitted dock, and room for a pool.
