Despite being short of its fundraising goals, Maine's Lost Valley ski resort has announced that they will be open for the 2014-2015 ski season. The ski area has been operating with a deficit for years (such is the plight of the tiny ski area these days), but is trying to get back on track with yup, you guessed it, a crowd-funding campaign.
