Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Price: $5,250,000
The Skinny: John Swisher of Swisher Cigars had this many-gardened Mediterranean Revival estate built in 1931. Since then, it's played host to to "some of Jacksonville's largest parties and gatherings," where guests are said to have appreciated the "spacious lanai," which they probably just referred to as "a veranda." The home was renovated once in 1990 and again in 2008, but there's still a lot of history present in the interior; the wood and tilework are standouts, and there are even a few stained-glass windows to be found around the winding central staircase. Listed back in 2009 for $6.9M, it's since been marked down to the just-relisted price of $5.25M.
